I have discovered that I quite like shopping. Shopping becomes so much more fun when you have money. Does this make me a different person from who I am? I always told myself I wasn't going to be all "girly" and obsessed with shoes and new clothes.

I'm not, really; I like buying some new clothes, especially my uber-cool Nintendo jacket that says "World Champion 1985" on the back. Yup yup. A lot of people keep asking me if I really was the World Champion. Shoot, I wasn't even born then. Yeah, uh, I played psychically while in my mother's womb. o_O;;

Last night I stayed up late, since today we had a Gates Late Arrival day. I watched X [One]. It was good. I never remembered Kamui being so cool. But then I remember he turns into a pansy later on. But then, this is the TV series, and let's hope significant changes have been made.

Fuuma is still hot. Nataku is as adorable as ever. I love the way the relationship between Sorata and Yuuto is played out, both of them being such jokers about the whole thing. Heh. Muchly amusing.

Finished reading Word Freak by Stefan Fatsis. It's a commentary/documentary novel-thing about the competitive world of Scrabble. Really quite interesting. My mind is boggled.

Uh... I feel like doing something fun today, even though I really need to get to work on those college application essays. x_X Criminey.

Stuff happened, and then some more stuff, and then I did some other stuff. Money was won, though not in a large amount, gifts ordered, pages typed, and homework neglected.

Yeah! I got a check for $100 from the VHF for my "Voice of Democracy" audio essay, plus a certificate for entering. Then, Michelle also won a savings bond and recognition. We're going to the banquet this Saturday after work. I hope the food is good, I don't have to make a speech, and I get more money. ^_^;;

Um, what else... oh yeah, went shopping again, bought two more DVDs; the Fake OAV and Saiyuki Volume 3. @_@ I really need to stop. I promise, I'll save after Christmas.

Hah! Not bloody likely.

What else. Oh, yeah, um, stuff. I'll scan some pictures of me 'n' the Super Friends (with their permission, of course) and let y'all see what... I... finally look like. For anyone who actually cares. @_@;;

I'm really upset right now. DeviantArt just went through my skins and deleted a whole bunch of them, claiming they were "skinner-generated."

Well, I'm coping I suppose. I will repost, hopefully it will piss them off. Maybe they'll ban me. But I know I'm in the right; I put time and effort into those skins, and they have no right to tell me they're automatically generated. They need to find admins who can actually tell the difference between "home-made" and "automatically generated" skins.

Listening to New Order. It's very a pleasant, happy song. I don't know what it's called, I haven't had this CD long enough to memorize all the songs on it yet. But it's the last track.

Super Friends notice!

Actually, I'm going to have to change the date to the 30th. My mother's going to L.A. to visit her sister/my aunt, and she's going to be gone from the 21st through the 29th. So, the new date for the party will be the 30th. I hope that's fine with everyone.

As for the Secret Santas drawing, I'll have people write down a couple things they want. Then I'll make copies for everyone involved, then we'll all draw names.

Thus, this SHOULD eliminate the need to ask people what they want, and thus give away who has whom.

Well, I'm going shopping tomorrow, which means I will be buying many things. @_@ I plan to purchase the GameCube I promised Gen-chan, the complete X TV series box set (heh, expensive), and possibly some other Christmas presents. This Christmas I essentially have to buy my own gifts. Not a problem.

I've decided I probably won't go to Japan this coming summer. Although I would dearly love to and the experience will be forever with me, money is a problem and I would like to spend the last couple months I have together with my friends before we all move on with our lives.

I propose we hold the After Christmas Party on December 29th or 30th. That is the Monday or Tuesday following Christmas. If this date is not OK with anyone, please tell me at school or e-mail me.

Also, Super Friends, be sure to register at Michelle's message board, Virtuous Demon. We need more people there so it's not just me, Michelle, and Chris. -_-# Makes for... lacking conversation, you might say.

Ignore the previous post, as I plan to purchase them when I go to the mall again this Saturday. Although I don't remember seeing Volume #4 there. Hmm.

Subscribed to Nintendo Power in order to get the Zelda Collector's Edition Disc, the one with Majora's Mask on it. I love Majora's Mask. But I already promised Gen-chan I'd buy her a GameCube (really cheap, only $99), and get the disc that way. So we'll both have a copy. And maybe she should pick up a memory card, since I can't afford to spend more money on her. Bah.

Lots and lots of homework, stress, et cetera. Oh yeah, I also tied with some others, including Michelle, for the bearing check today in JROTC. I lost two drill downs, though, but I managed to stay in until the end. The second drill down I was "third place," not that it matters a whit. ^_^;;

Um... what else... Oh yeah. Gotta start planning for the Secret Santas and the traditional After Christmas Party. D'oh. No time! And I began working on my story again, so I feel really cramped and overwhelmed.

Time to just relax and tear my hair out doing HTML that I can't remember how to do. @_@;;

If anyone wants to be super, super nice, they can get me the next three volumes in the Fake manga, I've already purchased #1. ^_____^

Consider it a major hint for the Secret Sants gift, if you get me. And yes Super Friends, I am going to start working on that.

Other news, I'm just getting over illness, I have to work tonight, and I'm going to miss Financial Aid night tonight for college. ~_~ Life stinks.
